Haiku - rain

Monday greetings everyone! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I am in the third week of writing haiku a day. I must confess that I have not been writing like EVERY day. But, I am trying to be consistent with my blogging. The one word prompt that I have decided is 'rain'. September is officially the last month of the rainy season. Hence, the one word prompt popped in my head. Here is my haiku - As usual the arrangement is 5-7-5 syllables in three lines. this monsoon season my paper boat is ready for the backyard pond Do share your rain memories or poems with me in comments. Celebrations on my mind.

Anniversary! Yes, it has been a year since I started this blog. I know I did not do much posting in 2017. That is why it seems like only yesterday, when I joined blogger. This year was very good for me. I participated in one of the biggest and most popular blogging event in blogoshere. A to Z challenge in April was a big learning curve in blogging journey so far. To celebrate this feat, I have decided the topic for Haiku as 'Celebrate/ Celebration. confetti and cake ready with so many gifts showering blessings What does celebration means to you? Haiku - flowers

Today is about flowers. I love the little beauties so much. I get excited when I spot a bud or two of roses. I like observing the peculiar wrinkled petals of hibiscus. The clean white jasmines with sweet fragrance or non fragrant orange-ish firecrackers...I can go on and on and on, That is why, the one word prompt for today is 'Flower (s)'. Here is my haiku of the day. various colors, bloom in different seasons spreading happiness Which is your favorite flower? I would like to know about your favorite flower. Haiku - Door

Happy Monday, everyone! This is the second week of my self poetry challenge. I have decided to write a haiku on one word prompt randomly chosen by me. Last week I could post four Haiku. Haiku - Soil

I am back with a new Haiku...after two days. There was some problem in network and I could not access anything on world wide web. Everything is well today. It is the weekend and I am writing my fourth Haiku on the new one word prompt. The one word prompt that I have decided is Soil calm on the outside, however in the turmoil every time it sprouts. Th prompt was inspired from some gardening that I did today! I wish everyone a very happy weekend. Looking forward to read your versions.
