In every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact.
I am sharing a quote by Les Brown. This quote has
inspired me a lot. Today let us talk about this positive impact.
As Les Brown says, we have 1440 minutes
in a day. If you think about it, it is a whole lot of time. According to him,
everyone gets these many opportunities in a day.
So, how do you make a positive impact?
Here, positive impact is
not about doing something big for society or people in the world. My theory is
that if you really want to make an impact, the process should start from you.
You have to make sure you utilize the opportunities.
Do's for making positive
impact:
I would like to share some tips for you all. I use them myself. I have gaining lots of positive results.
·
Get
organized
Organizing your work is
very important. Balance your work life and personal life, You do not want to
waste half of the time wondering what you can do in the available time.
·
Know
priorities
You are organized. Good!
Many a times it so happens that you spend too much time doing something
meticulously. You work hard for the perfection.
Results are great at the
end. That is it. It is the END of the day. Then, you realize, you spent too
much time on single thing.
·
Stay
calm and happy
Rushing through your
work, increases tension. So, take a breather. Always say to you, 'stay clam',
'I'm calm'. Do it whenever you feel tense or pressure.
If you follow first three
stages and complete the work on time, pat yourself.
Say 'I'm happy' to keep
going and motivate yourself.
·
Gratitude
When you achieve your results,
you become happy. That is the most critical time. When you are happy, that is
the time to be grateful. You have to say 'thank you' to all the things that
made the day and are the reason for your happiness.
What do you all think about these steps? Do you take each of these measures or any one is your personal favorite?
I would like to know what else can be done to increase positive impact in life. Please do share your views in the comments. I wish you all a very happy weekend.
