Quotes from books that start with U

Time for U.

This post is in response to the A to Z Challenge. A month long challenge in April,

Letter of the day is U.

I am a bit busy past few days. It has resulted in playing catch up on the letter. I am also unable to visit other blogs and reply to lovely comments received on my posts.

I am really sorry but I will make sure to get back to each and everyone who took their time to read and comment on my blog posts. I will also visit the wonderful bloggers participating in this challenge.

It was very difficult to search books for this letter. I had to search a lot too remind myself the books.

This is just a collection of my favorite authors and their works. I would like to know more books for
this letter. Please do share the names. I will update my posts then!

I would like to share the books and quotes now.

The first three books that I would like to share have been written by one author.

I would like to feature P. G. Wodehouse for the first time in this series of blog posts.

I just love his work. Reading his books is totally fun and a joy ride.

1. Ukridge

Ukridge was the sort of man who asks you to dinner, borrows money from you to pay the bill, and winds up the evening by embroiling you in a fight with a cabman.

2. Uneasy Money

At the age of eleven or thereabouts women acquire a poise and an ability to handle difficult situations which a man, if he is lucky, manages to achieve somewhere in the later seventies.

3. Uncle Dynamite -

I wish people wouldn't tell me I can't do things.

I know this is really short post. I am trying my best to come up with books and quotes that you all will enjoy reading.

I hope you will like my attempt for U.

Which P. G. Wodehouse book is your favorite?  I like Piccadilly Jim and Full Moon too.

I am planning to read more from this wonderful author so please do share your favorites.

I will meet you all with V tomorrow.
